There was a gap in print marketing.
Who:
Culver's and The Wisconsin State Journal.
Background:
The Wisconsin State Journal wanted to pitch print designs to Culver's. Culver's didn't utilize print ads, so the newspaper saw a gap they could fill. This project was completed when I worked for Lee Enterprise's Big Pitch Team. The Wisconsin State Journal is a subsidiary of Lee.
Design:
I took inspiration from Culver's website and other marketing materials for the "Welcome To Delicious" ads. Since they are a chain based company, I was able to find downloadable graphics and their logo on their website to use in the ads.
Badgers Love Butterburgers was inspired by Culver's sponsorship agreement with the University of Wisconsin Athletics. These were geared towards coupon specials for customers to use at Badger athletic events.
